A private place to share with people whose opinions matter.  Were inviting a small group to help us shape it from the start.

JOIN THE DINNER TABLE BETA

It Started around the dinner table

Someone mentions a show they cannot stop watching. Someone else asks whether it is really worth starting. Before long, everyone is trading recommendations, comparing reactions, and trying to remember the name of the one thing someone said they absolutely had to watch.

That familiar conversation is what inspired WatchLately—a private, personal place for sharing movies and shows with people whose opinions you actually value.

Personal media—not social media

WatchLately is designed around real relationships, not followers, public profiles, algorithms, or collecting an audience.

From people you trust

Recommendations feel different when they come from someone who actually knows you.

Private by design

Share with individual friends, trusted Dinner Tables, or the people in your Household.

Keep the conversation going

Recommend something, compare reactions, decide what to watch,

and talk about it afterward.

Help us shape Watchlately

We are inviting a small group of trusted friends and family to participate in the WatchLately private beta.

This is not a finished product, and we do not want to pretend that it is. Some parts of the experience will require more effort than they eventually should. You may encounter rough edges, incomplete features, or something that simply does not work the way you expected.

That is precisely why your participation matters. At this stage, we are learning whether WatchLately feels useful, whether people return to it, and whether it helps carry those personal conversations beyond the dinner table.

We’re looking for testers who are willing to:

• Use WatchLately regularly during the beta
• Connect with people they genuinely know
• Recommend titles and respond to recommendations
• Try Dinner Tables, Household features, watchlists, and messaging
• Tell us when something is confusing, frustrating, or missing
• Help us decide what WatchLately should become

What you see today is only the beginning

The private beta is web-first, but WatchLately is not intended to remain simply a website—or become merely a smaller mobile version of one.

Our longer-term plan includes dedicated iPhone and Android apps, timely notifications, smoother invitation and connection tools, deeper title and streaming information, and the convenience people expect from a polished mobile experience.

By joining at this stage, you are helping us decide how those features should work before the decisions become permanent.

Pull up a Chair

By requesting beta access, you’re telling us that you are willing to actively use WatchLately, explore its features, and occasionally share honest feedback about your experience.
